They are still roughly 50$ upgrade fee even with Flashloader. Had a couple of different GIAC-X versions and then GIAC 3-. Ran 2 program flashloader versions (stock and pump).

Today was a great surprise when I went to order a VAG COM online and realized that AWE's headquarters are less than 10 miles from my house over in Willow Grove PA!... So I took a trip over there and picked up a KII-USB unit and ran the auto scan. I'll just paste the results here, the interesting one is the N75 which explains a lot of what was going on earlier in this thread, and it's exactly what people suggested was the culprit. Any advice on what to do with the other fault codes? The ignition does seem to take longer than usual to fire, I sometimes have to blip the throttle to get it to fire up quickly. The guys at AWE were awesome btw and very helpful, as was EdyJun's site. Here are the results..

N75 valve replacement time, or is it something electrical? I'm going to pull the ECU as soon as all these diag scan things finish and I dont feel the need to play with the VAG COM anymore to check if there's a sticker or anything indicating exactly what chip is powering this thing. Thanks guys.

Check your N75 cables and make sure the connector is on tight and wires are ok.
This error could be a bad N75. Have you logged the boost and N75 duty cycle?
17956 - Boost Pressure Regulation Valve (N75): Open Circuit
P1548 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

N75 cable/wires seem ok visibly and the connector is on there tight. Where in the VCDS is the logging... would I go to Applications / Controller Channels Map, then log #115 to log boost?
Did a Darintake setup last night (K&N panel filter, thank you PO!) and fog light delete since one was busted anyway, and I ordered a set of 710N's since the stockers are still on there after 9 years and 69k. I just ordered a new n75 as well so hopefully that takes care of the problem the VAG COM found, but I'd like to figure out how exactly to log the two things you mentioned there MySTG3S4. The online VAG COM manual wasn't much help. fwiw the ECU had no sticker/markings on it.
edit: i replaced the n75, it fixed the problem immediately. yay!

yea when you chip its usually ideal to go and throw in 710n's at the same time. The N75's wont last on a chipped S. That should fix your issue although it wouldnt hurt to run a pressure test to make sure you don't have any bad check vavles, etc.

The N75 valve is not going to fail because you chip the car. My car has been boosted beyond stock for nine of its ten years and is still running fine with the original N75. Parts fail, some due to higher boost, like the TBB, but the N75 doesn't fall into that category.
