Default I'm getting creaking from my drivers side front (sounds like the front lower CA) when it's over 75

degrees out. They've been on the car for about 25-30k. I had the ball joint on the pass. side front, lower CA fail recently too. I have a feeling the crap roads I drive on a daily basis, combined with stiff suspension kill CA's :-/

Default i think there misinstalled ! the rubber bushing need to tighten in the normal position

of the car sitting on its wheels (suspension compressed). A LOT of installers and shops don't give a **** and just tighten them with the suspension fully extended putting the bushing WAY out of range of motion when the car is sitting on it's wheels .

Default Dumb question: how do you do tighten at ride height?

Do you jack the car up, take the wheel off, then use another jack to push up the suspension?

Default Are you suggesting that they should be not be torqued at ride height?

Not at ride height with suspension compressed? Wheels just hanging down?

The Bently manual and everyone I spoke to says to torque them at ride height with the suspension compressed.
