Another day, another weird noise that I notice.
Can anyone comment on any of the following:

1.
Occassional squawking sound coming from
somewhere in front of the driver, hard to locate.
Duration per 'squawk' is about 0.75 second.
Sounds similar to the vacuum sound the door locks make. Sometimes 2 or 3 times in short succession, not related to speed. Is there a vacuum device under the instrument panel?

2.
Light click sound whenever I step on my clutch pedal quickly. Could be a switch that senses your clutch is depressed? (came loose?)

3.
Get B-pillar rattle on bumps from time to time.
Tried B-pillar cover fix listed on this site but it didn't help.

Thanks for any ideas. Trying to prep before bringing in my S4 for the first service.

I've got #3, once in a blue moon, no fix yet :-(

But it turned out to be the front passenger seat headrest. When I put the headrest down it stopped making the rattle.

Give it a try... g'luck!

Believe #1 is from the also noisy AC system.
#2 Was there when new and went away.
#3 Comes and goes.

'Fine' quality car uh ?
