noob question.. How much diffrence S4 vs A4 driver feel in regular use?
I'm so enamoured with the S4, considering a4 quattro for wife. Wondering if its going to yeild a similar feel to drive at "average" speeds? Any help on specificly good models is apreciated...please dont tell me to go drive one.... there arent any on this island...

If you drove both cars at 65MPH without speeding up or braking, they'd feel the same.
An ex-girlfriend had an A4 2.8, and when driving it, I'd often forget that I wasn't in an S4 - until I went to pass someone.
They have the same quattro system, height, width, etc. Obviously the handling and suspension is different, but cruising along they should both feel the same.

well then ..cruisng at 65MPH .. B5A4 scores seriously HIGH bang for $$
Thanks!! that pretty well coved everything I wanted to know. time to look for a well kept car for my wife.

I just switched from an A4 1.8T to the S4.....
My main reason was that the 1.8T was underpowered under 3500rpms. I do mostly around town driving, so the fit wasnt good for me. I'd recommend getting the 2.8 for your wife.
