But old school audi fan. I have a few questions about the terminology and effects that certain "upgrades" have.

What the %$#^ are fats times...how are they recorded?

Piggie Pipes/exhaust- I am an old guy and I don't want to spend a kagillion $$$ on new turbos (use to the easy boosting of I5 motors...IE I want a totally reliable K03 set up) If I was to do Piggies what kind of benifits would I see on stock boost with a "quiet" aftermarket exhaust. How does AOA dealers look at these upgrades when it comes to a CPO car

Exhaust-see above, our S4 is our "road trip" car as well as being our fun car. I would not mind hearing a little more exhaust but I want it to be comfortable for both my wife and myself to do a 400 mile day and not have to tuyrn the bose up so we cannot talk, but unleashing some extra BHP is wanted. Agian how does AO and a CPO dealer look at this up-grade.

Suspension-Just got a Neuspeed 22MM rear bar. Would love to lower the car maybe 1". Done a bit of research here and I am thinking Shine raceing real street suspension ,. any other ideas? Stassis real street CO's maybe?

Car is a totally pampered, completely stock '01.5 S4 with 50K on the clock, really as clean as you could ask for with the milage, previous owner was a totally **** motor head who did not molest the car and it has every service done according to the book. Just looking for upgrades that will not affect the reliablility of the car.

Cheers,
Jim

Default Look at Stasis or Votglands for C/O's. Milltek 3" among others would be a good exhaust for...

you. Quiet, but with a much better sound and better breathing.

As far as piggies go- you will hear a little more turbo spool and I am sure there are some HP gains (maybe 30 or so CHP) to be gained from them.

Are you going to chip the car? This would give you the biggest bang for the buck. APR seems to get kudos as far as smoothness and GIAC is the prefered faster chip around here. I have both and I find them to be pretty close.

you'll enjoy the car and this is a great resource for them.

Good luck-

Then do the piggie pipes, don't chip it. change the oil every 15 minutes and drive like an old lady.

You'd be better off slapping the K04s in there. Much more reliable turbo
