NorCal: Bay muffler, not sure I can say enough about them
Seriously.
Chris (owner, main dude etc)is a stand up guy. He flat out told me he is not the most patient man in the world, so if your looking for Clandestine type welds when he is under your car, your probably not going to get it. Does his welds work yep, sealed up my leaks the first time and really didn't charge me anything. In fact he is so down to earth that he told me to pay him later (bringing in the allroad) to get some work done. Unfortunately I ran out of time this week so stopped by to drop him off the measly $20.00 he was going to charge me for the S4 (where in today's business world do you find people that work on trust?!). We chatted, about some suspension, he asked about the tuning in our cars, whether we were using 3dimensional timing tables etc. And how they ran the outlaw motors, where they would actually start pulling timing at higher RPM's since the Pistons are already moving at a good clip (fantastic point!)..
Just overall good guy, think he knows a whole hell of a lot about a lot of things (since he builds/races outlaw cars, around $55K each).. Just overall good friggen guy..
so you in NorCal, you need something welded up, he is your man. Seriously.
Also here is the kicker. I drive in today, I hera this "I'm in the back" So I walk thru the shop (big shop) and he's sitting at the end with a beer in his hand and a cat on his lap. He said all I need is a good bear and my cat and I'm good to go (down to earth guy)..
Just wanted to give you another option for an exhaust guy in NorCal (old middlefield road)

Your right, but he makes you put the **** where you want so yo b&tch *** can't complain later
Seriously. You hold your tips, pipping where you want and he will tak it then weld it. It's your destiny. You don't like it, your going to pay to have him do it again, since you were the one that said "yep that is how I want it" hehehe
