The A6's actually did quite well against the Vette's, s2000, turbo 944's. modded mustangs and such. But it is a big ol barge!!! Was alot of fun.

Default hey! I know John Morton!

A restoration guy I worked for was a buddy of his back when he had the Can Am program. Met him a couple of times...that?s cool that you got to drive with him!

Good for you for getting out there and enjoying your car both on a dragstrip and road course...wish more folks would realize that it?s all good to talk but the reality when you hit the track is FAR different than some magazine article.

Default You'd have some s'plaining to do if you were behind it! ;)

A6's are heavy at 3759lbs, but they are only 166lbs heavier than an S4. Does that make it a "barge"? Or is it the extra 2 inches in wheelbase?

Why doesn't that Vehi-Cross just cut through onto the grass? :-)

Default John Morton had just lapped it and then that pic was taken.

Boy he could sure move that car around the course. I was just amazed that he was going so quick and we were passing the vette, S2000, M3, and any other car out there!! Shows you what a great driver can do with an ordinary car. But my poor tires and brakes!! LOL Kinda smokin'!!!!
Pete(nasa), he(John Morton) knew you and was afraid to go head-to-head with you on the track at any time!! : ).
