Default Not selling, but how much would people be willing to pay realistically...
...for a stock S4 A Box ECU? 2000 6 speed. Thinking about buying chip&ECU and then just selling stock ECU.

Default i'd just keep the stock one to use for dealer visits and such
if you can, its nice to have the insurance of a stock ECU

Default True, but I'm out of warranty. 68,000 miles.
If turbos blow, and I need to get somewhere, I can run just as little boost on chipped ECU by going easy as on stock I reckon.

Default Spare ECU is good to have around for troubleshooting
and chipped ECU failures. Infrequent but it can help in a pinch.

Default i sold mine for $500.00 ...i bet you could get even more
given what someone has to pay from Clair or the dealer for an A box.
