Would you like to tempt fate on the edge of one of the most scenic roads in the entire country? Over 30 miles of non stop twists and turns on the side of a mountain, with nothing between you and a 300 foot drop into the Hudson River but quattro and a few strategically placed rock barriers and rusty old guardrails. High speed cornering with one of the best backdrops in the North East, and more apexes and elevation changes than you know what to do with.

Last years drive was a success, starting out at the Kensico Dam, to historic Route 9, up and around Bear Mountain, and through Storm King....this years will be even better.

Set aside Sunday October 26th for the drive, begininning in Westchester with a meet and greet, than a fast paced drive through the Hudson Valley, and back. Dinner, at one of the local establishments will take place after the drive.

Default Well, I live about 5 miles from the road so I tend to take quite fast pace up the mountain.

I'd say speeds would optimally be about 50-75mph up Bear Mountain, and a bit slower through Storm King since it is tighter. The speed depends on certain conditions, we will definitley keep a brisk pace, and those that wish to go faster or slower are free to do so. It's a tight sequence of roads with no room for error (you have a cliff to one side and a a mountain of rock on the other.

We will likely break it down into groups based on speed to keep safety a priority.
