NYCMETRO: *Reminder* Cliffs of Insanity drive coming up THIS Sunday! (IC Bullsh!t Free)
Hey Everyone,
It's that time of year, the leafs are changing color, it's getting colder you need to:
Make sure your tires aren't worn, and you've got good brakes, and suspension....You're gonna need 'em.
Details: Sunday October 26th, 2003 11am, starting at FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights, NY (Northern Westchester County)
The meet will begin promptly at 11am at Franklin Delano State Park (in parking lot #6, which is the same parking lot that last years drive ended at). The park is located directly off of the Taconic State Parkway, and is easily accesible from NYC, CT, and points North. Directions can be obtained from www.mapquest.com, the address for the park is:
2957 Crompond Road
Yorktown Heights, NY 10598
It's an incredible drive, lots of very fun, twisty mountain roads, with some high paced cruising, and great scenery. Bring a digital camera, and your appetite if you want to go out to dinner/lunch afterwards.
I would like to thank Mike for really put this one togetahr this year. I hope to see everyone there
