OEM Alu. Mirror install- shall I change the whole thing incl. motor, or can I just change the cover?

Default you can just change the cover... pull out the mirror(be very careful) unhook wires,
remove 2 screws from bottom. Remove case.

Default true... however...
unless you find a set that someone is willing to break up... youre going to have to purchase the entire assy. from the dealer... whether its s4 or rs4... they do not sell seperately.
