OEM RS4 Front Installed!
well folks after finally opting to get an RS4 front, i finally got in on the S4. consider it the last mod for the year/winter.
probably to many's surprise, the bumper is on well !!! what i mean:
1) the body-shop molded it very well. how well? fitment to the fenders is 90-94% good. overall from a few feet away you cannot tell the seam is not 100% perfect.
2) according to S4mig and some others, they assumed the paint would crack when my body shop heated it up to mold it (the bumper was already painted prior to being installed). well the bumper's paint did *not* crack a single bit. i guess you have to have a very experienced body shop who can put the RS4 front on the S4.
3) the RS4 front is very aggressive looking and i'm very happy i opted to go with it. i love how the washer jets are flush with the bumper...
4) Neat Street is the body shop who put it in on the car (Aurora, IL). overall, they did a great job and put it on in one day. they charged me a GREAT price, so i would like to thank Neat Street for their work...! Steve was very honest and open about how it would go on, but promised me there would be no issues...and there were not!
5) SHOUT out to WindyCityS4 for all his advice again, and leslie for bringing the RS4 front to me.
6) as my wife looked at the car (she is the one who approved the project), "hey luv, your S4 now looks like a shark with those gills!" =)
7) yes yes yes, i know...TPIWWP.
8) i'll get pics up this weekend probably...

Glad to hear everything went well!
As for paint cracking I wanted to let you know of the worst so your hopes/expectations didn't get carried away. Good to hear it turned out well and lets see them pics! I know I'm throwing bricks at the glass house as all I have are teaser pics so far. I need a nice day around here.

trust me i was worried about it too....but when i got the shop...
they were near 100% it would not crack at all. so i really was hoping that remain true, and it did! so all in all, no complaints from me! =)
