Probabaly the tensioner. I replaced everything up there at 80k, now at 121k. What do you think, do the whole works, all belts and bearings again with only 41k on them? Guess I might as well, labor is as much if not more than the parts.

Default I was just looking on the ECS site, but.....

If I add up the 6 items in the $254.95 Ultimate kit, I get $251.74 if ordered seperately??? weird. Guess I'll call them in the morning.

Doesn't sound like a bad water puimp, but I'll replace it anyway.

Default Has anyone ever had a "Timing Belt Dampner" go bad?

ECS says a "high failure rate part" Just wondering if I should change it, it's another $100.

Default i have a 'rattle' from the front of my engine

it sounds like a rattle, but it clunks around like a bearing. Had the dealer take everything off the front end and they still couldn't figure it out.

What does your problem sound like?

Not a rattle, a whirling sound...like a bad bearing.
