Oil consumption
It appears that my S4 is consuming more oil now (11,000 miles) than I did during the initial 10K. My S4 is consuming about 1 quart per 1,500 miles. Is this normal at this point of engine life?
What is considered normal for the 2.7T?
I broke the car in as per spec and didn't put too much load on the engine or abuse it during the initial 1,000 miles. Should I be alarmed?

wow that's a lot!!!
My car burns up about .3 quarts every 4000 miles. The only time my car burned up that much oil was during the first 4000 miles. BTW i have 32000 miles on my car now.

This probably depends heavily on driving habits...
Are you constantly on the throttle? Do you rev the RPM's up high? Have you tracked the car? Me personally, I'm always in the high RPM range (4-6K) and I've tracked it once.

I was using a qt of 0w-30 every 2.5k miles BEFORE the turbos were replaced,
Which was at 14k miles or so. Now it has been over 3k miles since then and no noticeable amount of oil has been used.
