Default Ok,All I'm trying to do is figure out what cars like mine sell for.

THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE THREAD.

I simply have an S4, no long term experience with the resale market of them (other than searching)and know trade in is around $26k.

Here's the simple details since when i get specific, my posts get deleted.

01 S4 6 speed Silver/Black 46k miles, Sport, Premium, Cold, Bose and some simple "OEM" mods.
The car is really in mint condition so I don't want to trade it. I would be much happier giving a local or enthusiast a good price for my car.

Can anyone give me a hand with a number?

Thanks in advance.

Default Checkout Edmunds, KBB, NADA, & then...

look on cars.com to see what similar cars with those miles/options are selling for. Consider you car relative to these cars and price it accordingly.

Default yeah, I've checked all those above mentioned guides...

but sometimes the real world prices often differ from those online sources. That's sort of what I was trying to figure out. I'll check out Cars.com now.

Thanks.

Default I don't think there is a good formula for S cars. I just bought an S4 and

saw prices ranging from $25k-$35k during my search.

Default Based on Cars.com...

Start at $31,500 and come down from there. Take
$29k-$30k for a quick sale.

Thats my $.02

Default Wow I was below 29 to START!

I would really like to sell it quick though so maybe I'm willing to give up a little $ to make things work better for a potential buyer. I HATE trading cars so I would much rather find a buyer.

Thanks again!

Default No Prob. Remember those prices on cars.com...

are mostly from dealers and are ASKING prices that are nego. Most private party purchasers will expect a better deal from you.

Good luck!

Default that would be fine with me, but it's proving difficult to potential S4 buyers

Guess I should advertise more.
