Default OK Guys I took the plunge and bought the new KW V1 coilovers...

Couldn't resist the $950 deal. Now I need some help installing them. Does anyone have a writeup on this yet? If not is there anything tricky about installing them? I am going to have the help of a mechanic that does suspentions, but I don't think he has done any coilover installs on an Audi. Any help would be much appreciated.

Default Mine should be delivered today, and installed on Tuesday.

You need a spring compressor or just take it to a shop.

Default I bought them too...

Should be here next week. I'm going to have them professionally installed since I'll need an alignment anyways.

I'll post pics when it happens.

These are the ones with the adjustable perch/ride height adjustability. Plese e-mail me the details on the install and the feel. I have been looking into those but will see what has been successful in the european market when I head to europe this winter..hmmm...Good choice!

Default A few weeks?!

Pat, if the alignment is too far gone after the install, you will really screw up your tires. I would get the alignment right after the install.

Default I don't drive enough for it to really screw up anything...

But you are probably right, maybe a week then.
235s will be going on the stockers soon.

Default I definately will! I know I could have used a report on one before I bought mine I did a lot of ...

searching but found only 3 people who had kw coilovers, and all of them had the V2. Only one did not like them, he said the handling was excellent but the ride was too harsh.
