Default OK, I figured you guys out

Going from stock injector 28lb/hr x 1.5 = 42lb/hr ford lighting. If you install injectors only, it will run rich without software change. Changing maf diameter from stock 73mm to 90mm increases area by almost exactly 1.5. (4183 mm^2 X 1.52 = 6358mm^2).
Interesting..

Default Hmmm, don't think 90mm MAF matches up perfectly with the 42lb Lightning injectors.

FWIW, Mike2kS4 is running 42lb Lightning injectors with a 88mm MAF and had to pull pack the primary fueling almost 20%.

Default true, the larger the amm, the less you'd have to pull it back, right?

Not to mention the 42lb/hr might really be more, depending on s4 fuel pressure. Since I bought the turbos I'm taking a good look at his home brew fueling. That and revo software, if they'd ever start selling laptop/user adjustable software.

Default Yes, but that doesn't mean bigger is better necessarily.

I know very little about injector flow rates, but IIRC the 42lb Lightnings are rated at 42 lbs with 3 bar of fuel pressure. Our system runs at 4 bar of fuel pressure....FWIW.

Default agreed. actual flow rate of 42lb/hr would be around 48.5 lb/hr

Default The RS4 MAF housing and RS4 injectors are almost a perfect match when using the

Hitachi MAF, very little if any tweaks need to be made. (M Box X Chip)

Default You still have to pull some fuel ;)

Lightning injectors are rated at 40# rail pressure, our rails start at ~58#.

I run an 88mm and I had to pull considerable fuel.

Default Yes they are...

Hitachi MAF is smaller than Bosch in diameter too. The actual difference is quite a bit larger than a bosch to bosch conversion... something to keep in mind.
