OK, I've been challenged!
One of my poker buddies picked up an older 12 cyl Jag recently and was bragging about it at poker last night. I was being a nice guy and congratulating him, but then he says he'd blow my Audi off the road. (He's never been in my car). I just calmly said "I don't think so". Then he trashed Audi, saying he had one once and it was a POS. That did it!! So us two old geezers are gonna race. What should I expect from him? Don't know much about his Jag other than it being an older 12cyl, auto, convertable.

perhaps he was hoping you wouldn't call his bluff
Those cars are even heavier than ours. You should not have any problems from stop or rolling start, on a dragstrip or road course.

Oh and make sure he is belted in so he doesnt get sucked out of his car when you blow his doors off.
