.....what is the general consensus? GOOD thing to do or BAD thing to do? Advantages/disadvantages on a MY2000 S4?
I've seen the smoother throttle response mentioned a few times - anyone done this and pleased with it?
Thanks to all who DONT answer with STFA/n00b/STFU etc etc....

it does, but i wouldnt go out of my way to delete it just for that.
its hard to nail a good launch on these cars when you arent doing it under boost.
you have to tach the car up pretty high to build more than a couple psi on the line fwiw.

Right I think, bc. ME7 will divert boost as it sees fit
Like if you are trying to power brake...not that I know from experience. I swear in my old Supra(w/a BOV), I could get ~1-2 psi in neutral by revving the engine, no go on the S. It seems like it is another safety feature of motronic

Mostly a drivability aid, I'd leave it in the loop unless its dead/broken/leaking.
Kind of cool to watch that circuit with a 2nd boost gauge. Does some really funny stuff in part throttle driving.

Nick Gustas' idea =-) Helps understand what's happening. APR has done some
tuning on the Stg3 code to accel the boost ramp using this circuit... question why anyone would remove it if the code is using it.
