going off outside. so I go out there...see what the problem is. My car doesn't make the honk when it locks anymore. Plus, when I'm inside and start it up, the interior lights stay on. Weird. What went wrong? TIA.

Default One of the door pinswitches is not operating properly. Check each one

and determine whether any are broken, missing, disconnected, sticking, etc. The car thinks that a door is open.

Default Also...when I open my pass. front door it doesn't register on the trip computer...

is that a sure fire sign that the pin switch is screwed up? Or could it be the control unit?

Just guessing...but I think maybe the switch is so screwed up that it might work occasionally even when the door is locked...saying that the door is open, thus setting off the alarm. Please somebody with some know-how help me out on this one.
