Default OK- No one responded to my earlier post re: activating Bose on my stereo:

My stereo was de-Bosed by the dealership. I need to figure out how to get it back so that BOSE shows in the display when it is turned on.
I have a VAG tool if necessary. Did search and can only find info on the EQ settings but not on how to turn Bose on.
Please help.
Thanks.

Default Go into the Radio module...

And recode it so that the 4th digit is a one instead of a zero, i.e.:
00107 - Bose Filter disabled
00117 - Bose Filter enabled

FWIW, I have mine set to the first code (Bose disabled) and I prefer the sound.

Sounds right. You can enter a "more" value even if you don't actually have the equipment.

Exactly. Mine was coded for 00117 even though I don't have the phone, NAV or CD Changer.
