OK...thermal barrier OR thermal emitter on Compressor housing?
Since, it's slow tonight...
What would be the best ceramic/synthetic coating to cover a compressor housing with?
1. A thermal barrier would shield the comp. hous. from the Exhaust Man. radiation. BUT keep the heat of compression in...
2. A thermal emitter (heat conducting) coating would amplify the cooling effect of the aluminum compressor housing, and would of course mean the exhaust man has a barrier coating.
