Default Ok, time for a kill story. C5 Vette goes DOWN!! :D

Ok guys, it has been a while, but I think I remeber how to do this.
This happened a few weeks ago when the car was still running like it should, nice and fast. Anyway, I was coming into Taos on the main strip at like 11PM and I had JUST filled up with a tank of 101 (YA!!!).
I blew by a car moving about 35mph without giving it a 2nd look and eventually came to a red light. The car I passed back there eventually rolled up next to me and I noticed the pop up headlights out of the corner of my eye. I looked over, and sure enought there was a shiny C5 vette. I don't normally start the fight, but I hadn't raced the car yet and I had RACE FUEL in the tank.
So I reved my engine at him (and my car was LOUD LOUD LOUD at the time). Sure enough, the guy reved back. He definatly had exhaust, because his was pretty damn loud too.
Ok, so the light turns green. I decided not to launch the car, so he pulled about 2 cars on me untill I hit 2nd and went WOT. I pulled him in pretty quickly and by 3rd I had half a car. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Next light: This time the guy was REALLY revving his engine. It was shaking my car. By now I figured we had woken up the whole damn town, and was looking everywhere for cops. Light turns green, and this time I did a 4k launch. Good bye Vette. Pulled 4 cars on him before the end of 3rd. YA!!!
But then the a pair of red lights lit up behind us about a quarter mile back and we pulled a F&F. But you guys don't wanna hear about that....

Default Hehe, I talked to the guy the next day. He was hurt..... :D

He couldn't believe he got blow away by a little 4 door. He thought there was something wrong with his car. Then we had a good laugh over the dumbass cop that tried to pull us over.

Default I actually had a cop tell me his crown vic "hauled ***".....

Excuse me officer, my car and I beg to differ. Not that you should ever run from the cops, but if you can sneek down a side street, I see nothing wrong with it.

Default Yesterday I saw my first Malibu CHP. I can't believe they chose them over the Volvo

A V6 POS american car over a turboed european sedan/wagon. Anything can outrun and maneuver them now. Let alone you'd think they would want a car with better crash protection.

The car was already ugly, let alone add the lights. The Volvos were total stealth and looked mean, except for the push guard up front.

Default The deparments down here are going with.....

3 ton Crown vics, or the lighter, but V6 powered Impalas. Ya, they can be really stealthy (especially the Impalas), but they are SO SLOW, and you can forget about handling. Especially with those crappy Good Years they throw on them.
I don't know what they are thinking either.

Default Aren't the crown vics stopping production? Doh it was the Impala(crappy tail lights)

both are bad cars for the police to use. Can't wait for the Tahoes they have been talking about..

Default Wow, KBB.com lists the Police Pkg on the site. 225/60-16 tires haha

200hp and 225ft/lbs

dry weight of 3400lbs. add light bar, and all the other crap in truck, and you easily have one mad 2 Ton beast. They gotta be putting SCs on them..<ul><li><a href="http://www.kbb.com/kb/ki.dll/kw.kc.nc3?kbb.CA;537838&amp;95667;car&amp;181;Chev rolet;2002%20Impala&amp;M7M4A2&amp;&amp;Cars&amp;4 ;7">http://www.kbb.com/kb/ki.dll/kw.kc.nc3?kbb.CA;537838&amp;95667;car&amp;181;Chev rolet;2002%20Impala&a

Default I dunno. The NMSP just a whole new hoard of crown vics......

We already have the Tahoes. What a fvcking joke those things are. SLOW as hell (especially up here, 8000ft), pull a whopping .60 on the skid pad, they stick out for MILES, and AREN'T EVEN 4WD!!! WTF!!?
In the last 3 years, out of 25 state cops in our district, there have been TWENTY totalled units. And these guys are actually telling US how to drive. :-/
