Ok, who has the "G-Timer"? Is it hokey, or does it actually work?

I've been told that hp/trq, 0-60 times, etc. are all accurate. Anyone???

http://www.escortradar.com/gtimer.htm</a

Default it works if you spend the time to set it up correctly.

problem is, small changes in setup can change the results by quite a bit...

kinda like a dyno or a FATS run

Default dvag has been playing with this for awhile

ryan has one.

they ran some quarter mile runs with it in the dash and it synched up near perfect. like mentioned, setting it up is somewhat of a pain. after a lot of research though with the right numbers its real good.

theres a thread there somewhere with info, probably under performance.

This is true if you are talking about Gtech Pro Comp or Gtech Pro RR. The old Gtech Pro was lame.

i have the gtech pro comp, absolute garbage-thank god i didnt pay for it. only thing its good for is testing mods, say u run stock, then run with a chip,u just do the math and see what it added, doesnt really work if u want actual power/tq estimates. takes too long to set up too.

It (Gtech Pro Comp) doesn't take long to set up if you have half-a-brain (ie. it sets itself up).
