Default OMG, that was very close - OEM jack warning - I just dropped my S4!

I've heard that stock jack is a deathtrap....now I know! I need to get my regular jack back.

Anyone know if this can cause any significant damage? it seemed to land on the front right rotor, and and I couldn't feel any difference after putting the wheel back on.

On another note, the 15mm spacers with the RS4 fenders looks just about right - I can't wait to put my 255s on in the spring =)

Default geeze, yet another jack failure. That sux, hope the car is OK. I always use my big floor jack and

jack stands. In fact, you should always use jack stands to prevent what happened to you unless, ofcourse, your're changing your tire beside the road.

Default sorry to hear Matt...but you should be fine...I've done that with previous cars before

and no damage. Any vibration issues with the spacers?

As for a jacks, yes the stock one is scary....even in my flat garage I get nervous...and speaking of that scary jack, I think I'll be switching over to the winter setup today.

try this one...a lot of people have it and love it.

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/photos/47200-47299/47246.gif</a

a good shop jack is a great investment - not too expensive either

Default one thing i would double check is the upper control arm bolt (16mm head)...those tend to get

tweaked. at least the car didn't fall on you matt

Default Yeah, I was very lucky. as far as the uppr ctr arm (more)

Do you think that it'll be ok, until I get it to the shop on Wed? I'm afraid to jack the car again, w/o the proper equipment.
