Default Opinions...

... well my baby, she's in the shop.

All this talk about the RS4 bumper has me thinking about buying it and having them (BevHills Auto Body) put it on. They have to reshoot the whole car anyways so I thought it would be a good idea in terms of practicality.

So, are there any issues in swapping of the OEM S4 bumper with teh RS4 bumper like cutting etc... (besides the headlight washers ofcourse)?

You know Chaka, I am unsure which RS4 bumper to go with. What do you recommend?

Default In regards to the reiger rs4 bumper..

The steel bumper must be taken off of the oem s4 skin, then glued onto the reiger rs4 skin. Some fitment issues may be had, but nothing to drastic a good body shop can't overcome.

Default The OEM bumper was made for flared fenders, so you will have fitment issues.

The Reiger is probably your better bet. IMHO.

Default Josh d made his oem look butter, without to much work.

But I've also seen other oem jobs that look crappy.

But haven't KentL and JoshD overcome the fitment issues by using "spacers?"

Default The reasons, I would not get the RS4.

There is no guarantee that you can get the bumper on and off easily for repairs if needed and no guarantee that it will look as good as JoshDs. but than again there is no guarantee with the Reiger either.
