Opinions please...
Everyone knows I'm trying to sell my car. My idea is to park my car on the street next to the dealership on Sundays when the dealership is closed. It would be there from early morning to mid afternoon.
I'll put a for sale sign on it and hope that someone car shopping at the dealership might call me.
My question is could the dealership have my car towed? It's a public street, there are not any no parking signs, no meters and they are closed so I am not keeping customers from parking.

Dealership couldn't have it towed to my knowledge, but...
...be careful because some states and/or local communities have laws stating that you can't use public property for the sale of personal items. In this case even though the sign is in/on the car you are still trying to use a public street to advertise. In fact, in most places I think it's technically illegal to drive your car around with a "for sale" sign on it. On the other hand, I've never heard of anyone being pulled over for it. What type of area is the dealership in? I don't think you'd have a problem with the authorities unless it was in a tight-knit residential area and some snooty resident called them up on you. I say give it a try since it sounds like an excellent way to get the car noticed by prospective buyers. Good luck!
