Oregon contemplating raising speed limit.
On rural roads to 70mph. Advisors to Salmon Kitzhaber "save the salmon, oh god please save the salmon" said they will resign if he signs the bill that would raise the limit to 70 mph. C'mon Oregon we have the lowest limit in the west. It horrible just horrible.

Nothing an Oregonian hates more than a transplanted Californian. I've been able to deflect the Oregon natives saying I only grew up in California. Born in Kansas!
And yes, they have no lane discipline here and don't know how to build decent freeway interchanges!

good idea, now people can travel in the left lane at the new speed limit.
Oregonians suck donkey rectum when it comes to any form of motor vehicle operation. It is a good idea though, speed limits are way too low in many parts of oregon.

Everytime I visit my in-laws, I can't stand how everyone drives as if there's a state trooper behind every corner. Oops, actually that's true.
If only they would raise the limit to 65 all around. Driving 55 is too painful.
