Default ouch - $3K

for a clutch repair and new waterpump.

Just in time to celebrate 1 month without warranty. I'm hoping they decide to swallow part of it.

More news later...

Default One month out of warranty? There is an "unwritten" 30 day grace period. Call AoA and politely..

complain. They may cover it all, if you are lucky. Otherwise, they'll eat at least half.

I doubt they'll touch the clutch...but they may eat the cost of the water pump.

Default Depends on the nature of the clutch problem....

...if it's a worn clutch, then you may be right and Audi might not cover it.

If the clutch self-destructed in some way, Audi should pick up the bill.

Default why are you risking timing belt breakage? Am I missing something?

Timing belt is not something you want to see break; catastrophic engine damage.
