Out of warranty in Bay Area, CA
Hey guys!
I haven't posted here in a long long time. Just been enjoying a trouble free stock S4 for the last 4 years.
My warranty ran out 3 days ago. The car has 42K miles and I think it is time to have (more) fun than has already been had.
So I am thinking to start with a chip and wheels. It sounds like MTM is a good choice. Does anyone know a good chip/tuner in the Walnut Creek or East Bay area?
I also have a few minor scratches to take care of and a driver's side windshield chip that was filled but is right in the sight line. So I am also thinking of fixing those blemishes and detailing the car. I hate to replace the windshield but it's like a little thorn in the lions toe. Just kind of annoying. So, any recommendations on a good shop for that stuff?
Well, it's good to read some posts again-I really want to breathe some new life into the car and finally have the opportunity to do it.

mtm and apr make good chips that will make your turbos happy.
im not gonna push any products, but will share my experiance.
X Chip- Brute force, will most likely blow turbos, but I know people who have not for numerous miles. Mine happened to blow twice...
APR chip- My turbos were happy, no failures, and it was chipped for 25k miles.
May as well cover some trouble areas first, its inexpensive and will save you headache.
TBB -10 bucks. Just update your stock one, and use stock ones. THey are only 10 bucks and are easy to replace. If you keep a fresh one in there every 10-15k miles, you should be fine
F hose. Samco or f pipe. Fix that thing for good.
BPV. i reccomend 710N's. Cheap, OEM, Strong
just my two cents. enjoy!
