I know. I don't have a cf roof though so black will have to do.

There are few spots where the weave is missing (must be black plastic underneath). You only see it from few inches though. From couple feet looks fine.

Default paaint it so no one decide to do an elbow drop on your trunk

and see if you have anything good inside. IMO i wouldnt want a noticable peice of carbon on my car.
the way i see it

carbon = $$$
$$$= toys

toys attract theifs

paint it, then no one would ever know.

Default Yeah you have a point. All I do is go to work in a high security parking lot though.....

Plus since it's carbon they would have to cut it with a radial saw to get in. Theoretically it should be ok. If I wanted to paint it I would most likely just sell it. Between the hood and trunk I saved about 70-80lbs or so. The weight savings are barely noticable on the street. It's mostly for the looks factor. The trunk is a very nice piece with a thick gel coat and high gloss finish. I would feel kinda bad about covering it all up.
