Default PaJohn's S4: after putting it on the lift, we found a coolant leak from the after-run pump. what

else would you do while you've got it open? don't say turbos. we gotta find out if the engine is ok from hitting that huge piece of metal that put a hole in the lower oil pan.

Since he's close to 60k since the last TB, he's got a TB and tensioner, and water pump ready to go in. Cam seals as well. Anything else? maybe a Tstat?

how we left it:

Default You don't have to pull the cam gears to do the water pump... you do however...

have to pull the gears for the seals.

I wouldn't replace the cam seals unless they're leaking.

Definately do a thermostat, and all the tensioners and pulleys...

Default Hey Jeff, we don't have to do the AC line today. There isn't a dealer in the whole

country that has that line in stock. Won't be in until tomorrow and of course it costs $100 more than the wrong one :-(.
