I had the car in for service today. Much to discuss, but things are still pending, so I'll leave that for another day. Anyway, I asked for new wiper blades as usual, but this time, when I get the car back, the wipers look different, and different part numbers are listed:

4B0-955-425
8D1-955-427

Usually (looking back on previous service receipts), I just end up with 200-955-522 times two. I'm wondering whether they gave me entirely new wipers & blades. If they just gave me new S4 wipers & blades, that's fine with me, but these look different. Both wiper arms are still the originals, but the entire wiper blade holder and blade look brand new. Also, the wind deflector on the driver side almost comes into contact with the passenger arm (about 1/4 inch apart at rest), making the lifting of the driver's arm difficult - I know for a fact that this wasn't an issue before.

Would someone please run the part numbers and tell me what I got? I'm a little worried also because the prefixes are different, but I don't know much about Audi part numbering.

Jeez - if they screwed up something as simple as this...

I just now realized that I seem to have Valeo wipers instead of Audi wipers. And the driver's one does not fit at all. Complete crapola. They're going to get an earful in the morning.
