Default Performance Upgrades!

Looking for some new upgrades and need some advice:
Brembo or Stoptech? (or other?)
Exhaust? MTM, UUC, Neuspeed, APR? I'm looking a great gain in performance and an awesome sounding exhaust.
Many thanks in advance!

Default Do you have any mods done or is your car stock? Here is brake, exhaust recomendations...

For brakes if you want to save money and get good brakes go stoptech. Bases on what everyone says they are really good and don't fade yet cost less then brembo.

For exhaust it also depends if you want to save money. For a nice sounding exhaust at open throtle with no drone on highway speeds I would recomend the borla(plus its priced less then all the competition). For a louder exhaust, the UUC is nice but it will drone at highway speeds. But definately a nice sounding exhaust too. It also costs more.

Suspension, chips are also nice mods to do along the performance end. Hope this helps a little.

Default get the supercharged M... c'mon...

you know you want it. =)
oh, and the VM3
(basically the VM1 polished)
is $675 from what I understand.
I think that's in the Borla ballpark.

Default Listen to the exhausts at a local Audi meet before buying...

A lot of people are jumping up and down about the VM3, for example, but I (who loves loud exhausts) thought it sounded ricey. Some of the people who have (far cheaper) custom exhausts in the area sound 10x better.

IMHO, Borla is still best bang for the buck, but the best one I've ever heard on an S4 was the (nearly) open pipes that Speedtech/Autospeed made for Carmen (which are on another guys car now...)

Thanks everyone for the advice...
I've already put in the APR 1.0 Bar chip, and I'm looking for some better breathing.
Anybody have any recommendations on the new Hyperboost diverter valve?
