picking up my WMS stage3 tomorrow. ....
driving from WMS back to SF.
Do you think the drive is good for the break in period and also rs4 cluth.
Should I drive high-speed on I-5 or take it easy?

Well, technically turbos do not require break in from what I understand. I would be weary the first
hundred miles or so. Pull over and do a visual inspection under the car briefly...The clutch would obviously be a concern...simply be delicate with shifts, however once you are in gear a few Wide open throttles should be okay, I think its more in between shifts and starting in first that you really need to exhibit caution with the clutch. Seeing is how you will not be shifting much on a long trip like this, I wouldnt consider the trip alone adequate break in for the clutch, a week of city driving however is a totally different story. Congrats on your car!

a few answers for you
1. take it easy on the cluth
2. dont ride on the clutch
3. try to avoid high high load
just drive normally, easy on the gas padal, shift around 3.5k~4k especially 4th-5th-6th (avoid the load), your clutch will thank you!
after you got back to SF, drive normal like a stock car for a few hundred miles! you should be good!
after you break in your clutch, take good care of your neck!
