Default Pics from Buttonwillow Racetrack

I went to the ROAD ONE PERFORMANCE DRIVING SCHOOL at Buttonwillow Racetrack (CA)yesterday. Katana and 2 more S4's where there too, besides everything from M3's, Carreras, 911 Turbos, Vettes and full blown race cars. Everyone got 7 sessions at 30 min. of driving in 1 day! Awesome!

Verdict: 2 warped rotors, 1 broken foglight (instructor broke it), blew left turbo hose of the pipe twice (mechanic fixed it)and my tires that had 1600 miles on them are in pretty bad shape.

Was it worth it? Hell yes!!! Next step, I definitely need a big break kit, probably Stoptech's.

Now as far as the pics go, close to the last session on the track these 2 huge semis pull up with "Cadillac Racing Team" written on them. Could it be that there are 2 Le Mans Cadis in there? Sure enough, they pulled the original 2 Cadis out, that where at Le Mans a week ago. They prepared them for test runs the next day. These cars are unbelieveable. See for your self.

Default You were planning on getting new tires/wheels anyway, so I guess this will just have to

expedite your 18" upgrade...hehehe

Default Pretty well...

Mine came away with nothing more than scrubbed tires and one had toasted brakes. The fourth seemed to be low on brakes and very low on cool down of his turbos, so I guess they may end up causing him problems.

Default Overall pretty well, ...

I know that one had warped rotors too. I am not sure how Katanas rotors are. But I was the only one that blew the hose of. But I think that Katana and myself where the only ones with chiped S4's, the others where pretty much stock, not even a suspension! As far as tires goes, everybodys tires took a real beating.

So how can you prevent the Turbo Hoses from blowing?
