Played with a 911 and WON!
Man do I love this car...
So I'm coming back to work from lunch uphill on I-70 in the Colorado mountains and I see this Guards Red Porsche coming up behind me pretty fast. I give it a little gas and start to pull away until the traffic clears and then he speeds up trying to pass me. At this point I'm only in 4th
so I gun it and shift to 5th and he falls behind then starts to speed up again. He gets within about 8 car lengths of me then I shift into 6th (Note: I RARELY use 6th going up the hill on I-70...WOW) and pull close to 120mph with a clear after lunch road in front of me. He speeds up a little more but gradually just falls back...still going at least 110 or so. I leave him in the dust until I reach a slower car and have to reign it in. He tries a few more times to pass me in various lanes but just can out gun me!!
Did I mention I love this car?
Anyway, my exit comes up so I get in the center lane and let him pass me and give him a quick thimbs up...he gives a quick wave and heads off, still weaving through traffic as I get off the highway.
When I let him pass me I saw it was a 911SC, probably early 90's vintage.

The Porsche wasn't a fair fight
I have owned 3 Porsche's including a current race car. An SC doesn't have anything close to the performance of a S4. You need a 993 which was '95-98 to even get close. I have a MTM computer and I believe that I'm faster than the current 996 Porsche. I love the S4. Next time pick on someone your own size. :-)

Hey it was uphill in the mountains...
this is the same part of I-70 where the Semis have to stay in the right lane (or even the shoulder) with their hazard lights on doing maybe 15 mph on a good day.
I figured I didn't need to fight gravity THAT much!
