I think I figured it out, but please confirm for me...

I'm pretty sure that it's the thing that rises vertically from the hub, behind the wheel...
that the control arms bolt into via the long bolt that's always getting stuck and making people saw off.

Upright is the part between the upper and lower control arms...
The tire rod end also connects to it.
