Please help me get my Audi videos from DV to MPEG...

Try a program called Pinnacle. Seems easy to use and powerful too.

I use Ulead VideoStudio ... pretty straight forward

Mark, once you get the hardware issue resolved, try DivX, not MPEG. Better compression.
