Poll: How many have the CPP upper control arms?
#7
Installed for about 4K miles now
I have run them before but just for track events, to get more camber. I now run Ohlins shocks with CPP links. Unless you have a very nice set of shocks, I don't see how anyone could tolerate them on the street. Even with my Tracksport Koni's, they were unbearable. Since switching to Ohlins, it's tolerable.
The point is that they are not really designed for daily use. They can't take that sort of daily abuse. You can run them, but understand that a fair amount of service may be required. If you drive on roads that are pock marked and have pot holes, you will need to have them rebuilt on occasion. All it takes is one good pot hole to introduce some play into one of the ends, and they start making more noise.
