Default Poll: I have K03/04/16 turbos in my garage, should I go homebrew stage 3, or 3- on my 2000 S4 6spd.

Is there any benefit (versus more potential HP) to going full stage 3? Reliability, fuel mileage, drivability? TIA, Jason

Default Don't forget to prelube!!

Apparently all hybrid and tribrid turbo failures are due to failure to properly prelube (tongue in cheek)

Default To you, what's the difference between stage 3/3- ???

Right now I'm going to setup to have everything EXCEPT big injectors and revo or giac tuning. For right now I'm going to be MTM with smaller [stock] injectors, K03/K16 hybrids, but a ported/polished manifold, DPs, and exhaust.

3- is bigger turbos without fueling. to go to full 3, you need bigger injectors and MAF housing.

To me, 3- is Giac-X, MBC,TCD,5bar, 3 is K04 S/W, Maf, Injectors...
