Default No concern, the pull more air then the factory mechanical
Your changing from a engine load to a electrical load. (minor), you will be surprised how much of the time it's off (if you have a controller)

i find it to be a PITA to always be eyeing your coolant gauge...YMMV.

Controller then.. OR! have it turn on with the ignition. That concern is pretty weak: )
