Default ported and polish intake manifold, hit/skip?

Does anyone have data to show gains, or improvemenst after P&P intake manifold? I have to fix one of the TBB tread so why not?

Default I have them on my car. They are OEM and cermaic coated. Kind of hard to tell when I got everything

done at once though to notice a difference. I have a 2000. I went to 2001.5 manifolds P&P and ceramic coated and I use the phelonic spacers from piggy. He built the car so...

Default i do have the phelonic spacers from piggy, why ceramic coated i read here that

coating was more for keeping heat in, while wrapping keeping heat out?

Default Well piggy built my car in his shop like 4 years ago. When he built the car that was what he

thought was best. I have known him for about 7 years maybe so..

Default i know piggie is a very trust worthy guy, just want to undertsand the idea.

since everyone was a diff opnion about it.

Default probably not much hp gains, but better flow and response. you could have 1 done like mark@autospeed

but you'll probably need custom software cause you are changing the air volume and velocity way more now.

Default wow, that looks labor intense, prob out of my price range.

vast is looking good as price goes. I remember reading about a DIY somewhere since i have soo much time now, i should try it.

i wouldn't think it would be too had since alum. is so soft. what are you doing w/ the heads?

Default i'm replacing the bent valve..

actually valves 1 intake and 7 exhaust(not sure what happened there, going in monday to look at). Hot tank, deck surfaces and new stem seals. A complete valve job.
The guides are still good.

I was just reading about coating for cylinder heads also, not sure about that, but it looks good.
