I actually ran into the same car (I'm almost positive) that I did a few weeks back and posted about. Today I just happened upon it parked on a public street in Santa Barbara, Ca. I actually had a camera this time, and got a number of shots, here are the best. This appears to be a prototype test mule (had a code #45 on the front windsheild), since the gills are covered (actually there was nothing behind, I touched to check), its not badged, and oddly has the old style sport steering wheel and cloth(!) seats. It's a lot more brash about its purpose (kinda like an RS4) than an S4. Your opinions may vary, but I think its a pretty sweet ride, and that any German car enthusiast should appreciate it.

Default What were the tire sizes on it? I love that front. Makes me wish I had the RS4 one.

Default They look like 18's. My guess is 235.

But then again who knows.....

Oh btw leslie i just may have to copy you and go with the silver caliper paint...i really like the way they look!! I was going to go with yellow...but that would throw off the whole color scheme of the car.....and jessica would call me a biter.....and all the imola folks would accuse me of envy. =D
Cheng.Kwan

Default Well if BMW is trying to expose the new M3 to potential buyers..santa barbra is the place

No offense but too many people own bimmers in that city. They're a dime a dozen....almost like ferraris! heheh...
