Default i had couple spots leaking on mine .. was just wet and dirty :

one clamp was a bit loose righ under the power steering fluid tank , and another right above the power steering cooling line.
look for dirty spots inside the engine bay , behind the driver's side headlight , directly under the TBB , and right above the tranny behind the engine. also look uder the car between the driver's side intercooler and radiator .. you'll see the power steering line to/from the cooler there.
i hope this helps Paul.

Default Do you see a leak, or is it level dropping?

If it is dropping and you cannot find a leak, I have a guess.

Just found a leak on JasonS4's car. The hose from the pump over the engine block (but under the intake manifold) was leaking. Not easy to find or get to. I imagine you have to pull the manifold. The hose is $150 from 1stvwparts. Over $200 everywhere else.

I hope that isn't it.

I hope it isn't this leak. It would be big $$$ to have a dealer fix. 8-(

Default Check the clamp thing (technical I know) that connects the

resevoir to the hose....I had a pretty good leak a few months back and this was the culprit...$3 part, if that

Default sounds like what happend to mine.....ended up being high pressure line from pump to rack that runs

under intake manifold to back of the engine. If you see fliud on the top of the engine the it is probably the hose.
