Power Steering Squeal

Power Steering Squeal
Only get it near lock or under heavy duty situations like parking. Sounds like it's coming from the pump and not the rack. Anyone have any experience with this?

Check your fluid? I was getting a minor squeal until I filled up the res.
it's hard for me to believe 2-3oz of fluid stopped it from squealing but it really did.

Read your manual...
You're not supposed to turn to full lock, and if you do it for too long, you'll over heat the PS pump.

funny, the dealer did on a test drive
When the dealer guy drove while on a test drive he pulled into a big parking lot and did about 4-5 circles at full lock. He kept talking about how the quattro maintained the same turning radius. He sold me on S4's but not his yellow one. I think I got mine less than two weeks after that test drive.
