Some one at Audi or my dealer has done me a great injustice. They have set the speed warning (mph2) at 55 mph. Every time I go over it beeps...LOUDLY!! It's *#@?$!! annoying. I can't delete it following the instructions in the manual. HELP!!!!

also, warning 1 resets everytime the ignition is turned off.

Following the instructions in the manual, with the ignition off I can't get the darn warning2 to come on. Is this the case with yours?

at something like 40 mph the day I picked up the car. I was fiddling with that control trying to set the clock, if I remember correctly. In any event, I just kept pulling, depressing, and turning the thing while driving, and it went away. The instructions in the manual are designed to make you feel small. I think words like "in", "out", "up" and "down" may not mean the same thing in Germany.

keep the key in. engine off. press the **** on the left, display comes on. then press it again, holding it. then the warning display shows up. use the u/down lever on the control arm to set it.

With the ignition off,

- To set speed warning 2, press the LH display button briefly then press and hold the button for at least 2 seconds
- The currently stored speed will be displayed. Adjust the speed alarm setting with the rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk. Adjustment is in 5 mph increments.
- To prevent the arm from going off just set the speed to some high number
