Itll be years before anyone finally comes out w/ products worthwhile for the B8

Default well, it's a totally different market. The B5 is a tuners paradise because...

you buy a relatively cheap car (10-25k) and spend the rest of your money modding the hell out of it.

The B8, on the other hand, will cost your whole wad of cash straight from the dealership (in Canada it will likely be 70-80k). And by the time people can afford to mod their B8, or just buy a cheap used one and then mod it, the B5 will be an antique.

Default after seeing what the B5 S4 did for tuners, you can bet they are already planning mods for this car.

no way it will take years, tuners know this car will be another gold mine for them.

Default yeah but are the tuner types going to buy them all new, most likely not.

there will be some lag for products atleast as far as ots stuff goes, there will be tons of development and then a lot of the "two weeks" stuff

you're comparing a NA platform to a FI platform, turning an NA motor into FI is very difficuilt..

based on history, I would think the tuners will have some of the first cars.
