Default well, labor might be the expense you won't like then...drive train will be fine, just make...

sure you get a more aggressive pressure plate/disc.
I don't know if fuel delivery might be a problem...you have to make sure your injectors/FP?regulator/lines/plugs, etc are up to par and that you have a proper ECU for everything.
I don't know anything about K04's as compared to K03's, just make sure you know there is more to doing turbos than just plopping different pumps in.
Are you going to do downpipes also?
How fast do you really want to go? K03's are pretty decent. I'll wait until upgrades are more readily available before I do turbos, and I know they probably won't be K04's...I'm hoping for a nice package including ECU to come along in a couple years.

Default The rs4 clutch plate is included. This is why I want to upgrade..

I just went to my dealer today, unbeknownst to me, it is protocol for the techs to open up any ecu out of an s4 that comes in for service. Well they found my apr chip and now I no longer have a warranty. So I figured what the ****. I might as well throw some insane turbos in because I'm allready ****ed on my warranty. Apr is coming out with a ko4 turbo upgrade this coming year. They are also coming out with a garrett turbo upgrade way later on this coming year that will be estimatedly 3000$more than the 5000$ ko4 upgrade because they have to custom make manifolds and piping. I can get their ko4 upgrade now for WAY LESS than what they will offer it for through another supplier that is just starting up and doesn't yet advertise. So I figured before the prices get out of control I'll get mine now.

Default Dealer can't void warranty, only Audi can.

Don't jump because the dealer told you there's fire, feel the door first. Make sure you know what you're jumping in to, because the odds are there isn't any fire...

Default If it was that easy every tuner would have a kit for the

S4 already. you will need a new ECU, downpipes, clutch and will probably run into a host of problems with several sensors (MAF, 02, ...) and possibly fuel injectors. I would guess that new larger intercoolers with better flow will also be recomended. Let us not forget the TBB boot ... extra boost and engine flex will probably take care of that. I would wait until kits are available from reliable tuners. There has been talk of K04 and turbos from garret coming soon. Just my .02 I am no expert on turbos but I do know a little about engines. I wouldn't worry about the drive train or the iron block as these are pretty bullet proof.

Default What the hell are you talking about? They can't open up your ECU just because you brought the car in

I would be so pi$$ed off...OMG..that's total BS.
Good luck on your turbo swap though!!!
