Default pulling the trigger on a 65' 350w mustang fastback what do you think?

I think this is a good acquisition on the premise that it is in decent shape and can be slowly restored. I am thinking of it as a fast fun car that handles "well" and that at least will hold its value for some time. My S4 warranty is a few months from vanishing and maybe an extra set of wheels might take some of the driving off from it. Also, it is a completely different universe of car.

auction is almost over. Should I? anybody has a similar car? ideas to make up my mind... I am 50-50 now. I have the cash and if not, I would consider an AWE KO4 kit.

Audi content: in contrast with a 50% slash of my S4. Not considering mods of course...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=6236& amp;item=2441218785</a

Default I dunno...this car has had a very full life...

Nearly 40 years old, used as a track car, followed by 10 years as a daily driver. This isn't going to be a collectors car without a LOT of work. My father had a '67 that rusted clean through by the early 80's. He eventually sold it off for pennies because it was no longer safe to keep on the road. I wouldn't advise buying a car like this without seeing it in person, and possibly even having someone in the business appraise it.

Buy one w/o a motor, and restored interior -- drop your own motor in it - its motor is probably done
